GOMOKU

GOMOKU

Board · 1 on 1 · Gomoku (五目並べ, Japón) · estilo libre

Five stones in a row on a 15x15 board.

This game is for playing with others: create a party, share the code and play the same rounds.

HOW IT PLAYS

A 15x15 board where you only place stones: one per turn, on any empty cell, and they stay there forever. Nothing is ever captured.

You win by lining up five or more horizontally, vertically or diagonally. This is the free-style version, so longer lines also count and there are no opening restrictions on the first player.

CONTROLS

Tap the cell where you want the stone, or move the cursor with the D-pad and confirm with FIRE.

TO SCORE MORE

· Moving first is a real advantage in free-style gomoku: if you open, take the centre and keep it.

· Watch the opponent's open threes (three in a row with both ends free): let them make an open four and it is over, because it threatens on both sides at once.

· A move that attacks and defends at the same time is worth two. Look for cells that sit on your line and on theirs.
