RAPID ROLL
Reflexes · Falling · Rapid Roll (Nokia, 1997)
The ball falls and the ledges rise: don't get left behind.
Free play does not count for the leaderboard: it keeps your best on this device only. Today's challenge is one run per person.
HOW IT PLAYS
The ball falls and the platforms rise from below. They are short loose ledges, not whole floors: there is no jump, you just move left and right to drop from one ledge to the next before the one holding you carries you into the ceiling.
Three things cost a life: the ceiling, which is lined with spikes; the red ledges, which carry spikes too; and falling out the bottom without landing on anything. Now and then a heart sits on a ledge, worth an extra life (up to five). Rise speed grows with the day's level and every twelve seconds of play.
CONTROLS

HOW POINTS ARE SCORED

TO SCORE MORE
· Don't wait on a ledge until the last moment: the higher you drop from, the more rows you have below to choose where to land.
· A red ledge never comes alone: its row always has a safe one too. If you are falling toward a red one, look for its partner.
· Falling out the bottom happens when you drop too late and there are no rows left on screen. Get off early, especially when the rows are fast.
· Since points scale with speed, surviving into the fast stretches pays far more than a clean descent at the start.
