FROGGER · CHALLENGE OF 2026-10-04
CLOSED · 10 PLAYERS
HOW THE DAY WENT
Sunday, October 4 brought FROGGER, at level 4, and 10 people played.
FERXO17 won by a street with 840 points, 510 more than ADRIAN in second. ELVIS TECK rounds out the podium with 280.
Among the top 10, the average was 256 points.
THE SCREEN
It started on screen 2 of the 3 that FROGGER has; clearing it leads on to the rest, in an order that depends on the day. It was played at level 4, with the same seed for everyone: the same enemies and the same pieces in the same order.
THE MUSIC
Obertura de Guillermo Tell (final), Gioachino Rossini, 1829.
The closing gallop from the overture to Rossini's last opera. Many know it as the Lone Ranger music.
It is in the public domain, transcribed to chiptune with square and triangle waves, the way it would sound on an Atari 2600.
ABOUT TODAY'S GAME
Each line of the map is a lane with its content, type, speed and direction: cars that run you over, water that drowns you and logs that carry you. The homes to fill are at the top.
There is a clock per crossing: the yellow bar at the top turns red for the last ten seconds.
· The 10 points per row are paid only the first time you reach that height. Backing off to wait for a gap costs nothing, but does not pay again either.
