HOW THE DAY WENT
Monday, November 2 brought PANG, at level 5, and 5 people played.
ELVIS TECK won by a street with 420 points, 180 more than ADRIAN in second. FERDAM rounds out the podium with 220.
Among the top 5, the average was 220 points.
THE SCREEN
Clearing the first screen leads on to the rest, in an order that depends on the day. The same seed for everyone: the same enemies and pieces in the same order.
THE MUSIC
One of the national dances in the third act of Swan Lake, with a cornet solo.
Public domain, as square- and triangle-wave chiptune.
ABOUT TODAY'S GAME
Bubbles in four sizes bounce to a fixed height and split in two when the harpoon touches them. You walk, climb ladders and stand on blocks; the orange-textured ones break to the harpoon and sometimes hide something. Touching a bubble costs a life, and each round has its time (the bar at the top): run out and that costs one too. Every round brings one more bubble, and faster ones, up to six more than the map draws.
- As in Asteroids the small ones pay more: 20 against 5. But there are four times as many on screen, so split one at a time and finish it before opening the next big one.
